Depending on the peanut you use, just toss them in the blender or food processor. If you use Spanish peanuts, they have lots of oil in them. If you use Virginia peanuts, you should add about a tablespoon or two of oil to every cup of peanuts. OR, mix the two kinds.

Has anyone made there own peanut butter? We used to
get an all natural at Safeway that we liked. Here our
small town supermarket has none. Does it take any
special equipment to make butter out of peanuts?
