the vent is clear it doesn't get enough psi to force the water out.

The system isn't pressurized, so that's not the problem. But that would be a
good suggestion if it were.

Right now, the system is just as it was. Well, it's going to sit over night,
and in the morning I'll look it over. When we took the insulation off, I
expected to see a gaping seam, but having uncovered the whole area where
water leaked, I have found no seams at all.
