=95 8P Mathew Conklin
Having been heavily influenced by his Fathers love of classic country
music, Mathew picked the guitar up in his teens and has been playing
and singing country ever since.

His style of twang carries a simple and straight forward message from
the heart. The night will include cover country tunes from the 50=92s
through today. Mathew hails from Philadelphia but now calls Raleigh
his home.

=95 10P Adam Watkins with Mirror7 (rock/blues/country)
A version of the band has been performing for over a decade. Mirror7
orchestrates their own special brand of ORIGINAL Rock, Blues, and
Country music. Like the Gospel, Soul, & Rock N' Roll they cut their
teeth on, Mirror7 is dedicated to making music you can FEEL!

Friday, November 19

=95 8P Chris Bryant - The 2010 Discovery Series
Middle school teacher by day, singer/songwriter by night, singer/
songwriter by night, Chris Bryant approaches varied genres and subject
matter with soulful honesty. It doesn't matter if he's singing about
love, love lost, social responsibility or having fun at a party - when
Chris sings, people listen. And when they listen, they believe him.

In 2010, Chris is playing a special series of shows at the Broad
Street Cafe. Each month, he'll play a 45-50 minute set of music from
an artist, band, or genre that's been influential or inspirational to
his musical development. He'll follow that up with a 45-50 minute set
of his own material. To find out more, visit http://discover.chrisbryantmu=
sic.com.

=95 10P The Debonzo Brothers (indie)
This Raleigh band brings it's brand of indie rock to Durham,
introducint a smooth, yet retro sound that is reminicent of The
Psychedelic Furs - (with their song "Boom Box" and then switches gears
with a sound more along the lines of more contemporary Indie with the
Song "21" - one thing is a constant, quality sound with the vocals and
ocassional driving guitar riffs. It's great, catchy and certainly
worth a listen.

=95 10P Rootsie (jazz/blues/reggae)
Rootzie is the brainchild of singer/songwriter/guitarist/bassist/
percussionist/ Gregory Blaine. Gregory has been playing and singing
for some 40 years in bands up and down the eastern seaboard. Rootzie
came about slowly adding one piece at a time finally jelling into a
rock'n funky good sound. The musical selections come from the vast
works of music Gregory was exposed to in his life: Gospel, Country,
Reggae, Blues, Funk, Jazz and even as of late, Bluegrass.
