I use Reaper alot on my PC. I usally use Gargeband on my Macbook but When I want to use VST/iVST stuff I use Reaper. Its pretty amazing for a free program. I havent found anything that Cubase does that it cant do? I use Ez-Drummer with
it all the time.
Between Reaper & Audacity you almost dont have to buy anything anymore except Plugins & loops. Alot of those are free too.
