No. You are only granted a license to use the work non-commercially. Creating a derivative and then selling it would be commercial use, so it is not allowed.
Yyou cannot use the un-altered image commercially either. So assuming this is related to your software, if you NC your work no-one will be able to use it for their business or for anything that makes money (unless they are a charity), assuming current understanding of NC is correct.
