Hi Steve,
Jean Paul Courtens and Jody Bollyut of Roxbury Farm, here in upstate NY,
have done a lot of work on transplanted sweet corn.  There is some
information on their growing techniques in the crop manual that is
available on their website.  Here is a link:
Their crop and harvest manuals are a great source of information.
