To understand what the mean by the "concordant method" see
Basically, it can be summed up in this one sentence from the article:
wherever possible, each word in the original should be represented in translation by only
one English word.
I hope that most of us here are familiar enough with language to understand the fallacy of
this approach, but for what it's worth, there it is.
