ERIC DOLPHY on the Thursday Night Feature, Thursday 9 p.m. to midnight
Tonight's TNF will feature a chronological retracing of the musical life 
of Eric Dolphy.

JANA HUNTER- BLANK UNSTARING HERIS OF DOOM (GNOMONSONG) on the Inside 
Track, Friday 9 p.m.
The first release on Vetiver's Andy Cabic and Devendra Banhart's 
Gnomonsong labelfeatures the collected recordings of Austin songstress Jana Hunter, her 
debut release(though she's already split an EP with Banhart earlier this year). 
Melancholy andintimate alternative folk, Blank Unstaring Heirs documents the evolution 
of her soundover the past decade.

FROM WHERE I STAND: THE BLACK EXPERIENCE IN COUNTRY MUSIC on Hell or High 
Water, Sunday 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
This week's Hell or High Water will feature selections from a new box set 
called "FromWhere I Stand: The Black Experience in Country Music,"  which explores the 
ways blackartists have contributed to country music and been influenced by it.

LIGHTBOX ORCHESTRA- FIRST CONTACT (LOCUST MUSIC) on Broken Music, Sunday 2 
p.m to 3 p.m.
The Lightbox Orchestra is the creation of Chicago cellist/avant-garde 
composer FredLonberg-Holm, a collection of musicians including Jim O'Rourke, Ken 
Vandermark and JebBishop all controlled by cues from Lonberg-Holm's lightbox. An innovative 
idea was explosive results, First Contact is a must for experimental 
big-band fans.
