GRACE BRAUN/DQE, “I'm Your Girl” on the Inside Track, Wednesday 9 p.m.
The Dark Beloved Cloud label has unveiled about as complete a portrait
of the musical mind of Atlanta songstress Grace Braun as one could ever
hope for. The two discs present Braun in her solo acoustic guise as
well as part of her pop rockabilly trio DQE.

PSYCHEDELIC SOUL on the Thursday Night Feature, Thursday 9 p.m.-midnight
This week’s TNF will feature some groovy soul music, so lace up those
go-go boots, grab those rolling papers, and dance to the music,
sugardaddy!

T.RAUMSCHMIERE, “The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle” on the Inside Track,
Friday 9 p.m.
As co-founder of Berlin-based label Shitkatapult, T.Raumschmiere
provides a welcome alternative to other forms of so-called hardcore
techno with what he calls "punkrock electronica." But don't let the
electronica nomenclature make you think this is the Prodigy or the
Sneaker Pimps - "The Great Rock N Roll Swindle" is a compilation of
*absolutely essential* vinyl only releases over the past 4 years.

HECTOR ZAZOU, "Sahara Blue" on the Classic Inside Track, Sunday 2-3 p.m.
This week's classic recording will be Hector Zazou's 1992 album "Sahara
Blue." Featuring collaborations with John Cale, David Sylvian, Dead Can
Dance, Bill Laswell, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Tim Simenon, this atmospheric
concept album celebrates the poetry of Arthur Rimbaud.

THIRD PARTIES: THE ETHICS OF VOTING YOUR CONSCIENCE on Northern
Hemisphere Live, Sunday 5-7 pm.
This week we’ll explore the ethics of voting your conscience in the
face of a close election. Guests are yet to be determined…

IAN DAVIS AND FRANK GRATKOWSKI on the Backyard BBQ, Sunday 7-8 p.m.
Intercepted communications between Ian Davis of Durham's Micro-East
Collective (MEC) and one Köln-based Frank Gratkowski have revealed a
scheme to invade the Backyard BBQ and inoculate said specialty show with
a potent German-American hybrid strain of structured improvisation!

SPRINGHEEL JACK, “Amassed” on the Inside Track, Monday 9 p.m.
The second release from this UK duo following their decision to move
from drum and bass into the realm of electronic-infused improvisational
free jazz. Featuring Han Bennink on drums, Matthew Shipp on Fender
Rhodes, Evan Parker on sax, Jason Pierce on guitar, and more, this
album is mouth-wateringly good.
