Hi,

Last year a lot of volunteers helped make the Spring Carnival a success.
Because of this years' more convenient location, I'll just need a few
people to help me set up the food and hand out tickets to the
pre-registered, as well as sell walk-up tickets. Even if you are
playing, we will have enough people to make sure you don't miss your
games. Email me if you are interested.

It's not exactly true that the food ran out last year, although little
of it went to waste. The hushpuppies did run out fast (Ben loves 'em),
but there was plenty of barbecue and sides, because apparently the
Q-Shack has liberal ideas about portion size. What I'm saying is, you
can't go hungry at this thing, unless you don't buy a ticket. Go to
League Central and pre-register. Saves you money and gives us an early
headcount.

The side dishes are baked beans, cole slaw, and potato salad. There will
be sweet and unsweet tea, bbq sauce (both styles), texas toast (looks
like Wonder Bread on steroids), hushpuppies, and all plates, cups,
utensils and ice. Small children can eat free if their parent has a ticket.

The auction will be smaller this year, but each item will be something
really good. If you have something to donate, email Ben. Summer League
Player #161 will once again be up for auction; I'll let Ben or Christian
give you the details on that. Trivia question: Who was last year's
Player 161, and what was the only team he didn't play on (and why)? I

See you out there!
