Hey, Summer Leaguers (and others)!
Check out the accolades bestowed on these several players from this year's Summer League, just below my sig.

SL 2009 Spirit/MVP disc recipients
Spirit discs for the team that must not be named (shhh....) went to two highly spirited, highly energetic athletes. Chris Venters and Laura Manson received our MVP honors this season. These two came to every game ready to give 110% and always had a great attitude. I thoroughly enjoyed playing with these two and look forward to playing more with them in the future!!
Super HITS' MVP was Kyle Miller
Kyle did a great job in doing the little thing that a team needs to be successful. He ran hard, always caught the disc, and was a positive influence on his teammates, which is saying something since we had to overlook the fact that he wears sunglasses when he plays. Thanks for a great season Kyle!
Day Bow Bow's spirit disc went to Ethan Kemp for having great attendance while also being a fun guy to play with who as also a great asset to our team. We were blessed to have a team full of people with great spirit who came out every week looking to have a good time. The team as a whole was great fun to be a part of, and thanks to everyone for being a hell of a team and reminding me why I make the crazy decision to volunteer to captain every year!
Everything Rhymes with Orange
Our spirit/mvp award went to Christian Ebbecke. We did not recognize his name or know who he was when we drafted him and he turned out to be a committed player who ran hard, never stopped cutting, and made bold and smart decisions. He was an absolute asset to the team and we definitely enjoyed having him on our team!
Buzz Management Inc.
Chris Hughes - Clearly the most eager learner and disciple of the ways of those desiring to manage their BUZZ with Maximum Efficiency.
John Allan Hinds - simply put: “Heart of a Lion!”
Royale with Cheese
Chris Haisty was our spirit award winner. Chris embodied everything that team Royale was looking for in a spirited team player: he showed up to most games, knew and played his role effectively on the field, and was supportive of the team as a whole. Despite his declaration of sobriety, we still enjoyed his company.
Hunny Pass
The official spirit disc was given to Shane Hutchinson, always positive, with solid handling skills, and he showed up to play! It was just extra hunny for the hive that he was an alumnus of the Colorado School of Mining and a lover of slacklining.
The official spirit six pack was given to Stacey Waldrup. Try to catch her without a smile on her face; she was the yin to Lesley's yang, and her long arms are fantastic ultimate accessories.
The Leprechauns chose Aditya "Andy" Matange as the Spirit Award Winner. Andy was a dark horse on our roster, but proved to be a huge asset on defense. He worked hard every game, and by the end of the season was capable of guarding far more experienced players.
