Think you'll miss your weekend Ultimate fix because the Holly Springs fields
are closed?

Well, do I gots news for you, friend ...

That's right, the ever-effervescent Forest Hills Ultimate game, The Game
That Time Forgot, is happening tomorrow (Saturday) morning, starting at
around 10:30 AM, Forest Hills Park in Durham. Easy parking, easy playing,
all good.

As usual, we may have lunch afterwards at one of the fine food
establishments in the area. For the game, bring water, bring friends, bring
family, and, if you have a good Thermos(r), maybe bring a hot beverage (it's
still not going to be *warm,* and it might be a little wet).

I'd recommend mulled wine, but it's a public park.

Forward this e-mail with whimsy and abandon. Carpool if possible; biking
optional. Your call.

See you on the fields!

The normal e-mail, with details ...

*Howzit?*
It's good, thanks for asking. More relaxed than league or other pickup play,
it's great for practicing positions you don't normally play, for getting
beginners into the game, for getting together with some really cool people
of all ages (middle school through old timers), for simply enjoying the game
.

*Wherezit?*
The game will be here:

or use Google Maps to find "Forest Hills Park, Durham, NC"
We play on the western (Chapel Hill) side of University Dr., right next to
University; best parking is along W. Forest Hills Dr. Angled parking
(instead of parallel) usually works best for getting lots of cars in.

*Whatzit?*
The Game that Time Forgot is one of the older pickup games in the area. No
sidelines, no stall count, no back of the end zone, lots of spirit of the
game. If you want to run like the wind, folks will tell you that you're
welcome to come out and do so. If you're like me and still need to build up
to running like the wind, we're out there, too. It's all about
participation.

*Howmuchplayingzit?*
Depends. What typically happens is that we have one field going until we get
enough people (and have enough space) to open a second field, which tends to
be an even more relaxed game (dwindles to a single game when numbers drop
again). We're all about playing.

*Whatsafterzit?*
Often, we get together for lunch or supper (as mentioned above).

Join the e-mail group - fhplayers at yahoogroups.com (cc:'d above). If you get
an extra five e-mails a week, it's a busy week.

So - if you're in the area, or if you want to *be* in the area, come on out.
Cost, as always, is free.

Hope to see you!

Always do right. This will gratify some people, and astonish the rest.
