[TFDA] Photosynth of Winter League finals action?

If you saw the CNN coverage of the Inauguration in January, they did an
experiment called "The Moment", where they asked people to take pictures of
the moment President Obama took the oath of office and send them to CNN. A
program called Photosynth was then used to combine all the photos (628 of
them) into one 3D view.
I'm wondering if the same thing could be done with an action photo, like
players skying for a disc in the endzone - if you had enough pictures from
different angles taken at the same time. I'm not sure if there'd be enough
people taking pictures tomorrow at Winter League finals to make this work,
but if you happen to be out there with a camera (be it a point-and-shoot or
an SLR) and you see a potentially spectacular play about to develop, take a
shot of it and after it's all over, we can see how many shots we get and see
what Photosynth might do with it.
