Aah what sweet memories this brings about. In 2001, when Victor was a wee
lad he helped our team of Government Employees win the Corporate Tourney. We
were mostly state employees but strategically added county/city
govenment, so we could could pick up the player formerly known as Beth
Cates. Pat Cox may have started the tournament, but we got his better half
(Shellie) on our team. If memory serves, I believe we had to play a SAS team
in the final game. I appologize to the members of the SAS team in the fact
that the only player I can remember was Mel Proctor, who was killing us so
badly that we put up two of our men to defend her full time. Sadly that's
about all I can recall, except for the sheer thrill of winning!
Here is a photo of the 2001 team, your fearless state/county/city
employees....aren't you glad you pay your taxes ;)
Names of the players from left to right: Greg ???, Victor Maneilly, Shellie
Cox, Jeff Faulkner, Mary Molly Taylor, Jamie Hammermann, Rodney Guajardo,
Jason Bivens, Alan Hoyle , Bill ???, Kristen Cozza, Beth Cates Stagner, Amy
Axon, Chris Roeseller, Allan Axon. (Sorry if I mispelled or got your name
wrong)
