 Greetings, fellow ultimatautomatons,

Forest Hills Ultimate, The Game That Time Forgot, is happening tomorrow
night, at its normal bad-a** time (6 PM) in its normal bad-a** place (Forest
Hills Park in Durham - link to a map and beaucoodles of other details
below).

As usual, there'll be an amazing supper afterwards at one of the fine food
establishments in the area. A reminder to all that, even if you have to
return all the way to Raleigh at some point, you'll want to eat. Might as
well do it with swell Ultimate people (and with the rest of us, too). Bring
friends, bring family, bring water (it'll be almost 80 tomorrow). Forward
this e-mail with whimsy and abandon.

The Duke grad students may have a separate nearby game (I'll let them speak
for themselves). Feel free to enjoy both.

See you on the fields!

yrs,

The normal e-mail, with details ...

*Howzit?*
It's good. More relaxed than league or other pickup play, it's great for
practicing positions you don't normally play, for getting beginners into the
game, for getting together with some really cool people of all ages (middle
school through old timers), for simply enjoying the game.

*Wherezit?*
The game will be here:

or use Google Maps to find "Forest Hills Park, Durham, NC"
We play on the western (Chapel Hill) side of University Dr., right next to
University; best parking is along W. Forest Hills Dr. Angled parking
(instead of parallel) usually works best for getting lots of cars in.

*Whatzit?*
The Game that Time Forgot is one of the older pickup games in the area. No
sidelines, no stall count, no back of the end zone, lots of spirit of the
game. If you want to run like the wind, folks will tell you that you're
welcome to come out and do so. If you're like me and still need to build up
to running like the wind, we're out there, too. It's all about
participation.

*Howmuchplayingzit?*
Depends. What typically happens is that we have one field going until we get
enough people (and have enough space) to open a second field, which tends to
be an even more relaxed game (dwindles to a single game when numbers drop
again). We're all about playing.

*Whatsafterzit?*
Often, we get together for supper (as mentioned above).

Join the e-mail group - fhplayers at yahoogroups.com (cc:'d above). If you get
an extra five e-mails a week, it's a busy week.

So - if you're in the area, or if you want to *be* in the area, come on out.
Cost, as always, is free.

Hope to see you!

Always do right. This will gratify some people, and astonish the rest.
