Hello, ultimate community.
Missy Summerville, a longstanding member of the Triangle Ultimate community
for over 15 years, has decided to step down from the TFDA Board of Directors
after 7 years of service.
Missy's departure opens a seat for a new board member. The TFDA board is
asking those in the ultimate community interested in serving to please step
forward.
Not sure what you are getting into? Here's an idea:
* Board members meet at least once a month at a board
member's house (pizza provided!), 7:30-9:30pm
(NO ultimate time).
* Board members typically hold an office (e.g., Secretary
or Treasurer), and/or chair a TFDA committee, (e.g.,
membership, competition, fundraising, Ultiplex
development, etc.
* Board members work. This means the board members
generally complete work outside of the board meetings,
trading emails with other members of the board as
work progresses. This requires AT LEAST a 5-hour/week
commitment from prospective board members.
The most important skills we're seeking, other than energy and dedication,
are those associated with fundraising and project and/or land development.
These skills will directly impact how the board proceeds with development of
the ultiplex.
Interested? Have questions? Please feel free to email any of the board
members:

or contact the entire board: board at tfda dot org.
Thank you for your consideration.
