The Crawfest is upon us.

For those not knowing what to do this weekend, fret no more. We have a
quiet little gathering on Saturday starting around 2pm in Raleigh. If
you can't remember, it's the time of the year where we invite a few
thousand live crawfish and some bands to perk us up.

When: May 5th, 2007 from 2pm until

Where: 5216 Yates Mill Pond Road, Raleigh

What: 400# of Crawfish, 10 kegs, 5 bands.......also to eat are chicken,
sides and vegetarian dishes.

Comments: We encourage donations to help offset expenses. Please do not
park in the road, otherwise somebody will get hurt. There's plenty of
parking space in the back of the property. Children are more than
welcome, but please make sure to show up with your children. Dogs are
welcome as long as they don't want to bite or hump anybody........or
other dogs. There's plenty of space to pitch a tent. For those still
standing a bonfire and bongos will cap of the evening.

Featured Bands & Schedule:
1. The Yates Pond Yellers from 3-5 pm. This is an old-timey Blue Grass
Band so old Yates Mill Pond was named after it. Zack Mondry has managed
once again to bring the music of the mountains to our neck of the woods.

2. Oatmeal Conspiracy from 5 - 7 pm. This Jazz style band played here
last year and was awesome. We're just glad they're willing to entertain
fools like us again.

3. Potato Gun from 7 - 8:30 pm. A classic rock band featuring Tom Reid,
Mike Riley, Craig Murray and George "not Bush" Livanos will rock your
socks off guaranteed.

4. Blowing Rock from 8:30 - 9:30. It's Gud "the Paddle Master" Stutts'
band that annually entertains us with songs like Cajun Love Song
and.........whatever you like to hear.

5. Dry Heathens from 9:30 - 11. These guys do punk rock, ready to show
their stuff.

Hope to see you all.

Christoph
