Today is the last day to register. Registration will stay open till midnight. Click here:
http://tfda.org/main/index.php

If you’re pairing with someone, make sure each of you have registration info pointing to one
another as partners.

We have only 13 (!!) captains. I will form 7 random teams if no one steps up. Draft will be on
Friday, in Raleigh, 7-11pm. Respond today!!

Sponsors, Captains, Players for 2006-7 WL Season

Currently we have only 3 sponsors for WL. Let’s see if we can’t get one or two more involved.
Contact me ASAP if you want to sponsor or know someone who does.

Currently we have only 11 of the 20 captains we need. Step up. You’ve perhaps played for years
and let someone else call the lines, bring the cookies, and send the weekly emails. Now it’s your
turn! Get in touch ASAP. Draft is Friday, Nov 3, 7-11pm, in Raleigh. Beer and pizza served.

Registration closes on Monday, October 30, at midnight. Get this done now. There is little time
between this close date and the draft, so there’s no wiggle room to sneak you onto the rolls after
the Oct. 30 end date. Click here: http://tfda.org/main/index.php

Other info about WL, including the great deal that is the Entertainment Book (only $25, which you
can order when you register), is below.

Three more additional things about the 2006-7 WL season

1) Only 13 more days to register. Members of teams going to Nationals (yay! for Ring, Backhoe,
Boneyard!), don’t forget to register. If you don’t register by October 30, you’re simply not
playing.

2) We’re still short many captains. If you have aspirations of leading your own hand-picked
squad, want to to design your own team jersey, and like pizza and beer on draft night, then now’s
the time to let me know.

3) Back-up fields. Many, many people have asked about this in light of the many cancellations we
had last year at the SAS Soccer Complex. While I can’t readily say we have them, I am working on
renting multiple sites around the Triangle to ensure that we play from one week to the next.

Several additional things about this coming season below.

***Two additional things about the 2006-07 WL***

1) We need disc and shirt art. The disc art is needed immediately. If you have something—even
just a gestational idea—drop me a line: schwoerkec at yahoo.com

2) We need a place to hold the draft. John Kim has moved away and we will not be able to use his
marvelously large office conference room. Someone else willing to do same? Please contact me
ASAP: schwoerkec at yahoo.com

The other key five things about the season are below. Don’t get left out in the cold; register
today!

We especially need sponsors and captains. Step up and help us make the league run that much more
smoothly!

Thank you.

***Five things about this 2006-07 Winter League Season***

1) Register at http://tfda.org/main/index.php or go to the tfda.org site and click on the first
link under the title “Winter League is coming”

2) We need at least 20 captains! Captains may, as they did during Summer League, provide their
own art (1-color, ie, black and white) which is no larger than 7” x 7”. Get in touch with me ASAP
about this, and begin getting your art for the jersey (jpeg, tiff, png, bitmap, or even pdf).

3) We need sponsors! $300 gets a sponsor a 1-year spot on the website, a 4”x 4” display on our WL
jerseys (1 color), and a receipt for tax purposes.

4) Entertainment books are back to $25. A great buy if you’re one to do a lot of sampling of
different restaurants in the area. There are discounts for restaurants, activities, and hotels
and other items inside and outside the Triangle. Just 2 to 3 purchases with discounts from the
Entertainment book cover its initial cost. Sign up for one (or more) of these books when you
register. All commissions for sale of these books go to the Ultiplex fund!

5) The Ultiplex fund is growing, and it needs to continue. We will be updating our Ultiplex page
with more info about what the land-purchase LLC has achieved thus far, including details about the
re-sale of the land it’s purchased to developers who’ll help pave and clear the 40 acres set aside
for TFDA.
