Hi, all,

This is a request for help for the small, startup company I work for (feel
free to stop reading at any time):

As I mentioned, we're a small startup company. We provide Continuing Medical
Education (CME) software services -- specifically, a web-based simulator to
help train doctors in different medical content areas. One major focus is
HIV-AIDS treatment, particularly in developing countries.

Doctors, nurses, and other users log into our system and are presented with
"virtual" patients. They see what the patient is presenting with, what the
patient is complaining about, what they would notice on physical exam, etc.
Users can decide what lab tests to order (if any), what diagnoses to make
(based on the presentation, the patient's history -- which is given, and the
lab test results), and what treatments (if any) to provide. They then
receive feedback comparing their actions to what would be best practice
given the situation.

One of our programs: http://www.hivandhepatitis.com/cme.html (and, yes,
three of the four photos are friends of mine)

To help personalize the cases and draw the doctors, nurses, etc. into the
cases, we use photos of people as virtual patient "headshots." It's
completely anonymous, in that we never attach anything close to the models'
real names to the photos (behind the scenes, images are simply numbered; for
the users, the fake patient names don't match the models' names).

This is the part where we need assistance:
We need (and will provide compensation for) headshots from pretty much all
ages and ethnicities. Because we're about to launch a pilot with partners in
Russia, we particularly need European-American (or simply European)
headshots. Again: this will be used for HIV-AIDS treatment education, and
names will never be associated with the images.

If you're interested in participating, please contact me (phone, e-mail,
whatever). I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
Please feel free to pass this on to whomever you think might be interested.
