Stories from around the world, illuminated in a myriad  of
puppetry styles.
Giant puppets, masks, stilts, painted cardboard, and shadows come to
life with live music.
Every Friday, Sat., and Sun. from
                                Aug. 11th thru Sept 3rd
At the Forest Theater in Chapel Hill ($10)
                                          Sept. 8th and 9th
At the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh ($15)
                                         All Shows, All Ages, 7p.m.
Different pre-show each night at 6:30
                                               www.paperhand.org
PLEASE check this out! It is so worth seeing.

The show is really big, lots of construction and creation, composing
and rehearsing.
As the title suggests, there are four stories: one from American
folklore, another with Eastern European roots, another Asian, and
finally, as dark falls, the shadow show, a story from modern-day Iraq.

Suggestions, respectfully submitted:
bring a cushion or bleacher seat thing
come early in the evening with a picnic
come early in the run in case there's rain or you want to see it again
bring extra money in case you'd like to donate to the company's efforts
to build a new space
TELL PEOPLE ABOUT IT

You can go to paperhand.org for photos from past shows and projects,
but remember, 2D photos don't capture this spectacle that fills an
outdoor amphitheater. You can also find out what the pre-shows are for
each night.
