Sounds like they need to enlist one of us to do the liner notes next time -
almost any listmember one of us could have tossed off more accurate
information
in our sleep! I am interested to see the Monochrome Set, ODW,
Mo-Dettes, Bongos
and Polyrock clips.

> I had ordered the "Live from Hurrah's" DVD for an affordable $9.99
> through Amazon a few weeks back, and my factory-sealed copy arrived
> this past Monday. I watched it twice on Monday evening. Overall, it
> was a thrill to finally see footage of MANY bands I had only read
> about back in the day, but my excitement was hampered due to all the
> mistakes on the disc.
>
> Two of the bands listed, BUSH TETRAS and MAGAZINE, don't appear on
> the disc. The group that is identified as MAGAZINE is actually THE
> DEL-BYZANTEENS (featuring Jim Jarmusch). And a second uncredited clip
> of LENE LOVICH performing "The Night" appears instead of the
> advertised BUSH TETRAS.
>
> Numerous songs are misidentified, either on the DVD packaging text,
> or onscreen at the start of the clips. The outside package calls the
> Georgia band "Pylons" instead of PYLON. Their song is incorrectly
> listed as "You Cannot" when it's actually "Gravity." LIQUID LIQUID's
> "Bellhead" is bizarrely called "The Final Cut," and the group's name
> is spelled "LUQUID LUQUID." AU PAIRS' "Come Again" is misidentified
> onscreen as "Do It Again." TEARDROP EXPLODES' "Brave Boys Keep Their
> Promises" is truncated to "Brave Boys." I'm sure there are more
> errors for the wealth of more obscure groups.
>
> All the footage is shot with a single camera, but mercifully the
> camera is steady and the footage is generally well lit and watchable.
> THE MONOCHROME SET suffer from the poorest lighting -- their brief
> run through "Alphaville" is performed in silhouette.
>
> An uncredited Clem Burke sits in with the Fleshtones on the ACTION
> COMBO track.
>
> Despite its obvious "rush job" presentation, this is a MUST HAVE
> purchase for fans of the era. I had never seen POLYROCK in action
> and they were exhilirating. For one reason or another, the clips
> from PYLON, WAITRESSES, MO-DETTES, OUR DAUGHTER'S WEDDING, LIQUID
> LIQUID and SHOX LUMANIA are now burned in my memory.
>
> I have high hopes that future volumes -- hopefully better researched
> and improving on the godawful cover art! -- will appear as a series.
> In addition to the 27 acts featured on this initial disc, I'm aware
> that further unreleased Hurrah's archival footage exists for GANG OF
> FOUR, THE CURE, BAUHAUS, ADAM & THE ANTS, PSYCHEDELIC FURS, SPEEDIES,
> CERTAIN GENERAL, and, of course, MAGAZINE and BUSH TETRAS who are
> listed here but don't actually appear.
