Good point Jeremy.
I think what Andraz proposed is a good idea. The X stuff, while having
more separate updates since the modular split, has gotten quite volatile
recently. As we have someone willing to work through these updates, a
general freeze with a separate branch sounds good.
If an update is needed in between for whatever reason, I bet Andraz is
willing to discuss it :)
