I should clarify. randrproto *did* update, and I had xrandr and
libxrandr on hold. :)

I'll try with no config and see, but I removed all the kbd entries.
Will my synaptic "just work" with the driver installed? If not, does
xf86-input-synaptic need to install an fdi policy?
