Here are my notes from my install from x86_64-20090115:

Bootup:
* Freeing unused kernel memory: 420k freed
cannot open /dev/null

* devices: Mounting /proc
mount: proc already mounted

* devices: Processing /etc/udev/udev.missing
chown: invalid group: 'root:firewire'

Fixed with commit 551a227f0d20166de2666f8052710b9b18830b79 on Mar 06,
2009.

* modutils: Running depmod...
FATAL: Could not open /lib/modules/2.6.27.10-SMGL-iso/modules.dep.temp
for writing: Read-only file system
modutils: failure

* mountall.sh: mountall.sh: Provider for facility crypt_fs not
configured
Need to disable crypt_fs or set a provider

* mountall.sh: success
rm: cannot remove '/fastboot': Read-only file system
rm: cannot remove '/forcefsck': Read-only file system

* mountall.sh: Mounting local filesystems...
mount: sysfs already mounted or /sys busy
mount: according to mtab, none is already mounted on /sys

* mountall.sh: success
/etc/init.d/runlevels/%S/mountall.sh: line 127: echo: write error:
Invalid argument

May not be ISO bugs, but how our mountall.sh works.

* smgl-default-crypt-fs: smgl-default-crypt-fs: Provider for facility
crypt_fs not configured...
As above, disable smgl-default-crypt-fs or set a facility provider.

* network: Starting networking...
/sbin/ifup: couldn't read interfaces file "/etc/network/interfaces"
network: failure

Perhaps configure at least lo in /etc/network/interfaces.

Installation:
* smgl-spells
Packages which will be installed (e.g. bash, gcc, glibc) are not
automatically selected, causing confusion.

* wpa_supplicant is missing from smgl-spells and /var/cache/sorcery
wpa_supplicant (or some supplicant program) is required to connect to
many wireless networks (mainly WPA ones).

After installation:
* I have no /etc/sysconfig/network/ folder

* I have two grimoires copied:
# ls -lah /var/lib/sorcery/codex/
total 16K
drwxr-xr-x  4 root root 4.0K 2009-01-15 16:47 .
drwxr-xr-x  5 root root 4.0K 2009-07-18 04:26 ..
drwxr-xr-x 93 root root 4.0K 2009-01-15 16:28 stable
drwxr-xr-x 92 root root 4.0K 2008-12-15 18:53 stable-0.28

Both are the same version:
# cat /var/lib/sorcery/codex/stable*/VERSION
0.28-0
91cc14ec60243eadeb7cd2bf22e65d9a78102da4
0.28-0
91cc14ec60243eadeb7cd2bf22e65d9a78102da4

Only one listed:
# scribe index

Codex Listing
-------------

 [0] : stable : /var/lib/sorcery/codex/stable

* Installed package list includes packages which don't exist:
module-init
nfs
Should probably be:
module-init-tools
nfs-utils
