I was planning on voting, but then got hammered -- the week of the vote
I got sent to hq and hadn't checked my personal email. I would have
done it remotely, but my key expired and I only generate my keys on a
box I can physically add entropy to (physical presence), and never
remotely. In any case, the choices were both good, so an abstention
isn't all that bad.

In other news, I've been able to use smgl a lot more lately due to just
finishing a project to port the major code I work on from wince and
win32 to linux. You'll be able to buy a copy for ubuntu thanks to a
major if not the major netbook manufacturer who wants some navigation
software to go with their gps-enabled hardware. Of course, it will work
on sourcemage since I do all my development on smgl and only do the
final packaging for ubuntu (or whatever linux the customer requests).

Other than ubuntu, a number of embedded linuxen are in the pipeline,
e.g. DENX.

I've been doing a lot more c coding than actual administration, so the
incentive to contribute is not so high for me anymore -- I almost never
run into bugs or issues that would lead me to even scratch an itch.

That being said, I still want to contribute. Since I don't have a lot
of spare time, maybe I can mail people hardware they need to do testing,
particularly poor students and such (who tend to have more time than
money). Also, if you're running short on infrastructure money, I can
pitch in there too.

You can almost always still catch me on the irc channel lurking around.
I read the email list -- about 1/2 of the posts I'd say.
