We're a source based distro but we are also a Free Software distro or
try to be at least. And yes only stuff that qualifies as Free Software
goes into bin. Same rules as for main grimoire.
Also sad to say a few sources require binary stuff to actually build
i.e.
ghc(this fetches a tarball from the haskel site to build)
and
gcj(it needs ecj.jar to build anything usable)
So such things should get split apart so basically ghc would then depend
on ghc-bin to build but would get dispelled before installing ghc
itself(if it's possible)
With gcj one needs ecj to build a working gcj compiler so install
ecj-bin then cast gcj. It should install it's own ecj1 and then you can
dispel ecj-bin.
These are the two that I know of. There might be others.
