Well, you get started off faster with only gcc... perhaps later seeing
that you need g++, too...
I kindof like to have separate spells, not being forced to install
multiple compilers when I need one -- but that works also for one
spell. In addition, I indeed guess that you don't add a new compiler
from gcc that often -- without having to recompile all of it because of
an update anyway.
What would be interesting for me is just how much more time it takes to
compile gcc and g++ together, compared to g++ alone...
Treeve: Can you supply some numbers there?
