Yeah I've got this one as well... sandalle said he'd fix it this weekend.

I've also seen this but this is a glibc issue that it doesn't allow
you to build statically anymore. What I'd really like to see happen is
building busybox against uClibc then we know it can work statically,
but that takes some effort.
There's a project called buildroot that creates busybox uClibc initrd
type images for embedded systems I was going to see how they manage to
do it, but haven't had the time...
