Here's the basic stuff I backup on every box:
#backup-manager vars
BM_TARBALL_TARGETS[0]="/etc"
BM_TARBALL_TARGETS[1]="/var/log/sorcery"
BM_TARBALL_TARGETS[2]="/var/state/sorcery"
That's the minimal for a completly unattended setup I belive...
