We've thought of putting irssi on the ISO and having it auto-connect to
irc.freenode.net/#sourcemage-newbies when it's loaded so that people can get
help that way. I'm not sure what good a web-based interface would allow, but
I'm not against it. My only requirement be that it uses open source software
(i.e. not Java).

If it's done correctly they could even use lynx or links. ;) There's also
Chatzilla from Mozilla.

Worgs were also in The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkein, a bit before World of
Warcraft's time. ;)
