glibc MUST use the headers from the glibc-kernel-headers spells, NOT 
from the linux spell. See

Source Mage is the only distribution i'm aware of that is still using 
(and which still have users trying to use) headers from the linux spell.

So, not providing /usr/src/linux is in fact a good way to show this kind 
of bug. If http://bugs.sourcemage.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8125 is related to 
this glibc supposed bug, then it should be marked as INVALID.
