Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knew of information about Organic matter
around the world? There were a few posts about OM a few weeks ago. I
do a lot of work with high density grazing. This is concentrating
livestock on a very small are for a few hours. We allow the plants to
achieve their maximum amount of growth and then we get a lot of
trampling by the livestock as they move around foraging for their needs.
Over a fairly short period of time we can significantly increase SOM.
It has been done in many places in the world. I am looking for
information that might give us an idea of what the maximum SOM we could
get in a given area.
