[permaculture] How to catch bees!

Last week, I reported about a swarm of bees that was hovering over our land and wondered how I could possibly settle them in a beehive.
Today, I found that the swarm had settled in a large black flower pot that was lying upturned in the garden. They come and go through little holes in the bottom which now faces upwards. They didn’t seem to mind when I approached as close as two feet to take some pictures.
I had been thinking of getting bees for a couple of years already because we have plenty of wildflowers and flowering bushes without any herbicides around for miles. We also use a lot of honey with our herbal teas. It is strange how nature sometimes provides when we least expect it to. Well, we haven’t got the honey yet.
I wonder, should I leave them where they are now or should I try to resettle them in a proper beehive? If I leave them in the flower pot (which is about one and a half foot in diameter and 2 feet tall) how am I going to get to the honey? I have heard about frameless beekeeping in Japan, but don’t now how it is done.
Any ideas or opinions?
