Lurker here, but I've heard from those who grow them that the seeds need to
be planted right beside something -- like the edge of a pot or a stick of
wood.

Subject: [permaculture] propagating papaya

Hi
does anybody have experience in propagating papaya (carica papaya) from
seed?
I tried germinating papaya seeds form a purchased fruit (right after buying
it) but with no results
Any ideas/comments/tips?
All the best
Antonio
