"The property is ideal for this kind of project. It includes wooded slopes,
gentle open slopes, wetland and rich bottomland with up to 4 feet of topsoil.
There is a large south-facing coulee with a springfed stream that is a
perfect spot for growing things watered by natural gravity flow. There are two
other springs on the property, as well."

This sounds like a lovely opportunity for some families, a chance of a lifetime. The setting
resounds of Garden of Eden, das lied von der erde, gotterdammerung (some German I picked up:
the song of the earth (Mahler symphonic/vocal work)
twilight of the gods (Wagner opera)

Is this a good locale for growing fruit trees? What is the growing season, climatic zone?

I hope you find people to carry the baton and you'll be able to keep the community property.
