[permaculture] Used Septic Tanks for Rainwater?

It is likely a requirement through the equivalent of the State  
Department of Natural Resources that makes that requirement.  I would  
start there to see if there is a way to skirt the requirement if you  
were able to follow a regimen of sanitizing that would meet with  
their specifications.
