[permaculture] What are your favorite permaculture tools?

Scythe...from either Scythe Supply or Scythe Connection.

Also, I use a sharp shooter shovel for almost all my digging.  It must be a 
"girl" thing...smaller end that goes deeper with minimum force.  I've never 
seen a guy reach for one first, but I always do.
