One bundle 10" in diameter of sticks and twigs up to 2.5 inches in diameter
in a bundle 30 - 36 " long and tied loosely works great. You can tie with
green elm branches. Let cure over the summer.

Regarding the bundles of sticks instead of logs,
is there an optimum size for the bundles?

We have lots of sticks and twigs. Oklahoma City
code enforcement pays close attention to us and
every time one of their little notices pops up on
the door we have to go out and trim everything
that is trying to grow over the sidewalk. The
last time I spoke with them I said, "Since we're
doing such good business with you this year, could
we have a discount?" This only elicited a nervous
laugh.
