I have Cc'd Bear on this post and have subscribed him to this list. I guess that
will answer his question about where to go to collaborate on online PC Info, PC Guild
projects.

Hi Everyone,
Glad to see permaculture.info online.
Last September permaculturists and permaculture guilds around the San
Francisco Bay Area had a convergence to try to start getting the guilds
more organized, and to network. I was put in charge of the web and tech
side of things. After searching through nearly all the opensource CMS
systems available out there I found Plone and decided to use it to
implement the website. It is a very powerful and flexible CMS system. I
was also involved in the early discussions on permaculture at ibiblio
regarding the wiki and suggested OpenPermaculture which is what I've
named the site.
I've been steadily working on it, though I've been busy with many
things, and have been hesitant to announce it to the wider permaculture
audience until it was as together as I'd like to see it.
There is still much to do, but OpenPermaculture.com is now online and
open to subscription.
The main feature waiting to be implemented on the site is a "group"
system that allows group (or guild) members to publish and review
content, and send members email updates on groups they are subscribed
to. I'm working on it...
I'd be interested to find ways to collaborate on these projects.
Cheers,
Bear Kaufmann
