Kathleen (happy St. Pat's), I can't tell you about Juno iris and deer, but I
can ask is you are on Willapa Bay where I know they grow delicious oysters
if not Juno Iris?

I have a question, Jim, about Juno iris and palatability for deer. I
planted some Junos several years ago, they sprouted nicely, settled
in to flower, and then the deer came through and ate them right down
to the ground. Are you in a fenced yard, and if not, and if there are
deer around, what do you do to discourage them?

Nahcotta, WA, just above the Columbia River, where it's blowing 50
mpg plus today, and has rained inches in the past 2 days. But not
snowed, or hailed (much).
