Hello,
Here in southern Europe D irioides is common and easy to get. It naturalises
in certain positions. Half or full shade it make a lot of seed. D.
grandflora a much bigger and more attractive plant, is much harder to find
and needs milder conditions. D. bicolor once established, makes (in full
sun) impressive borders or haies and becomes un interesting garden feature.

Greetings

Dietes grandiflora is sold variously as D. vegata or D. iridoides. The true
D. iridoides is hard to come by. David E.
