Hi,

Australia has tuberous Drosera species. I don't know if many people grow
them. But they are quite exciting to see in the wild. South Africa also has
some wonderful species that are dormant part of the year. I made a wiki
page for Drosera some time ago and added some of the ones we saw in
Australia, hoping to get the identity of them correct. Some of them are
climbers and some of them grow from rosettes.

I added pictures of a South African species, Drosera cistiflora, that I
had photographs of even though it isn't technically a bulb. I believe it
dies back to thick wiry roots. It has beautiful large often bright colored
flowers.
