I grow the Lilium formosanum here in Southeast Texas. The tall 6 1/2-8' ones are solid white with a slight variation of white down the center of the outside petal. The ones with the purple stripe on the outside of the petals, only grow to about 3 1/2-4' tall.
I was assuming they were not the same since the coloration on them aren't the same.
Can someone set me straight on this?
Thanks,
Patty Allen
