Diana,
A few years back a friend shared with me a small bulb he had collected in NE
Mexico, maybe in Tamaulipas. It had pink flowers and seemed similar to
Camassia scilloides. I've since lost it but the aptly named C. scilloides
grows perfectly well as a winter grower, even though it was originally
gathered near Uvalde, Texas.
