[pbs] An Iris spuria hybrid

In 2005 we had a thread going on the topic of Iris spuria and its hybrids.
At that time I expressed my interest in the cultivars with brown flowers. A
forum participant contacted me and offered a freshly dug clump of an
unidentified hybrid from her garden (thank you, Carolyn!).
Although the division sent was of generous size and was promptly planted in
a good spot, it has taken until now for it to bloom. The first flower opened
this morning, more than three years later.
It was worth the wait! This is one beautiful iris. Take a look at:

Ive placed the image under Iris spuria, although the plant shown is
presumably a hybrid. I would be delighted to know the name of this cultivar.
