I've never smelled any bad odor from Pancratium foetidum, but then
amorphophallus don't bother me, so I'm obviously not a good judge.
Despite the name, it is an extraordinarily beautiful plant. We grew ours
from Archibald seed....I usually order anything with the epithet
foetidum as that often yields some of the more curious plants.
