Yes, it's Boyd who co-founded Siskiyou RPN. Edgar Kline's nursery was in
southwest Portland (or Lake Oswego -- I went there once but am not sure
which jurisdiction it was in). It was called Kline Nursery. After he died,
the nursery land was developed for housing, but several local growers and
gardeners went there ahead of the bulldozers and rescued many plants,
mostly erythroniums and cyclamen. I remember a particularly magnificent
population of Cyclamen repandum there. I think some of the material was
eventually propagated at Bovees' Nursery, and Jan Palmer of Bovees' may
know more about it.
