[pbs] Crocus alatavicus; was Crocus michelsonii

Jane McGary mentioned Crocus alatavicus.
I grew this for awhile about twenty years ago. Out of curiosity, I Googled
Crocus alatavicus to see what was out there. One image I saw showed a flower
with very narrow tepals with a light violet flush at the base.
Superficially, it looked nothing like the Crocus alatavicus I grew; that
plant had white flowers with very broad tepals which opened flat. The
flowers were notably larger than those of C. korolkowii. I have photos of
this.
