[pbs] Cyan colored Iris?

The species, which I have not seen, is not sky blue, but its hybrids
can be. I have one that just opened in the garden. The colour is
temperature dependent. I would not call it turquoise. I have seen
Strongylodon blooming and I have never seen an iris that comes close
to that colour.
Garry Knipe of Cupertino is breeding blue Pacific Coast iris, with
turquoise as a goal. I visited him last week, and so far he has just
hints of it.
