I am now getting blooms on all these species from the seeds Mary Sue
sent out a year or two ago. And I'm wondering why she was so reticent
to think of them as geophytes and tell us about them. They are
wonderful; and so colorful. I had no idea they came in such a spectrum
of vivid colors: yellow, orange, scarlet, purple, true blue. My
Aquilegias are blooming at about the same time and happened to be in
the same general area. There is a vague resemblance in the flowers (as
well as in the plant style and shape), so it looks like I have all
these flowers in all colors of the spectrum dancing about like
butterflies in that part of my garden. Thanks Mary Sue.
